Andi and Logan’s rustic mountain wedding was held up on Big Bear, California at the San Moritz Lodge right on the lake. The venue is a historic lodge with the perfect mix of upscale lodge meets rustic mountain elegance feels. The beautiful couple are originally from Arkansas and were transplanted to California via the marine corp. The bride, Andi, is a bad ass model and stay at home military wife with two beautiful kiddos. One of my favorite features of this California wedding is the vintage 1964 VW that was converted into a photo booth – it made the perfect prop because I fucking love vintage cars and being able to incorporate that. I loved their mellow vibe and was able to focus on capturing editorial photos of them to remember their day. We didn’t have a lot of light to work with being in the mountains but the venue provides awesome, dramatic exposure so we had pretty awesome shooting conditions.
